Capricious Publishing’s 2021 publication Hello Future is a sticker photo book that features the culmination of Farah Al Qasimi’s photographic, performance, and film practice. Farah’s work examines post-colonial structures of power, gender, and aesthetics in the Persian Gulf states and the United States.
Designed at Studio Lin, Art Direction: Studio Lin for editors Sophie Morner and Anika Sabin and photographer Farah Al Qasimi. AIGA awarded the publication for 2021’s 50 Books | 50 Covers and the Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation awarded the publication for the 2021 PhotoBook Awards Shortlist.
